The Math Workshop is a drop-in tutoring service staffed by experienced undergraduates and math graduate students. Staff members provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while answering questions about mathematics. This is a good place to go when you get stuck on your math homework.
The hours and locations for the Math Workshop are below.
Mondays – Thursdays, 11:45am -1:15pm, in the basement of the Science Library in Room 88.
Sundays – Thursdays, 7 – 10pm, in Exley 189 (the fishbowl).
– The Math Workshop will close for the semester after the evening session on May 8.
Math Jam will open on Tuesday, February 6.
Math Jam is additional resource, complementing professor office hours, class CA sessions, and the Math Workshop, for students in intro level math, comp sci, Econ, physics or QAC classes. A visit to Math Jam is a good recommendation for any student or advisee who you notice having challenges navigating the options listed above, having difficulties finding peers to study with, or looking for assistance in a non-math but math-y course.
The hours and location for Math Jam for this semester are Tuesdays 6 – 9 pm in the Woodhead Lounge (Exley 184).
