The Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) is currently accepting applications for 2026 International Student Orientation (ISO) and International Buddy Program (IBP) leadership positions. We encourage you to apply if these opportunities are of interest to you!
ISO:
2026 International Student Orientation (ISO) student staff positions are now posted in Handshake:

We are hiring 1 ISO Intern who will work full-time on campus with OISA professional staff throughout Summer 2026 (June 1 – September 2) to plan this year’s ISO program. We are also hiring 12 International Student Orientation Leaders (ISOLs) who will work August 27 – September 2, 2026, in support of new international students. These paid positions are open to all Class of 2027, 2028 and 2029 students who will be continuing their studies on the Wesleyan campus in Fall 2026. The application deadline for both the ISO Intern and ISOL student staff positions is Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:55pm EST.
IBP:
We are now accepting “Senior Buddy” (Peer Mentor) applications for the 2026 International Buddy Program (IBP). The Senior Buddy volunteer role is a wonderful opportunity to mentor a “Junior Buddy” (new international student), make new friends, and enhance your leadership and intercultural skills! Students who volunteer as Senior Buddies will also earn a “Global Connector” LinkedIn badge and can attend an end-of-program session on leveraging your IBP leadership experience for future professional and academic opportunities with the Gordon Career Center.
All Class of 2027, 2028, and 2029 students who will be continuing their studies on the Wesleyan campus in Fall 2026 are eligible to sign up to be a Senior Buddy. Apply here by Monday, April 6, 2026, to be considered for the Senior Buddy (Peer Mentor) position!
