They are once again running their programs out of the Writers Room in the Science Library. You can find writing support on the first floor of SciLi. As always, they will be offering one-on-one writing support through Writing Workshop appointments. You can make appointments on WCOnline on your WesPortal by going to the Academics bucket and finding “Writing Workshop”. They open on Monday, 2/9.
They are also offering one-on-one writing mentorship opportunities for interested students who are taking writing intensive classes. The writing mentor program is an excellent option for students who want consistent, regular (ie. Weekly) writing instruction and support from a carefully selected peer writing mentor. Applications for the program are due by noon on 2/3. That program will begin on 2/9as well, and students earn a .25 credit for participation. Applications can be found here.
